Standard Electrode Units

  1. Upper electrode rode support unit (for 3Φ and 5Φ electrodes)
  2. Lower electrode rod (rod & plate)

Special Electrode Rods for Other Uses

  1. Tungsten and molybdenum: For welding metals with low resistance and high thermoconductivity such as gold, silver, and copper.
  2. Copper and tungsten: For welding to avoid electrode rod abrasion (Durability is 15 times that of copper)

Mr. Spot Kun Assembly Instructions

  1. Place the workbench equipped with the welding unit in what will be its permanent position.
  2. Plate the foot pedal beneath the workbench and attach the chain to the welder lever located on the back of the workbench. (Photo 1)
  3. Once you set the foot pedal in a position that is comfortable for you, use double-sided adhesive tape to secure the position of the pedal. (Photo 2)
  4. Place the power unit on the workbench (It is convenient if the power supply is located on the right side of the workbench. )
  5. Connect the electrical cord from the welding unit to the power amplifier. (Photo 3 right)
  6. Plug the cord from the power amplifier into a household power outlet.(Photo 3 left)
    Note: Unplug the power cord when not is use.
  7. Attaching the welding unit electrodes:
    • Attach the upper electrode (Photo 4)
    • Attach the lower electrode (Photo 5)
    • Photo of completed assembly (Photo 6)
  8. Refer to the following table for guidelines concerning the plate thickness of welding materials and welding strength.
